Curfewed Music
2019vr • Producer and Director
Curfewed Music is a 360-degree VR project that portrays the sound of protests through the ears of Firdaus, a deaf child in Kashmir, one of the most heavily militarized regions in the world. The film documents her experience with sounds and silence post-injury. Sound is the most important catalyst for protests, but what if the element of sound vanishes? The film explores this through an interactive narrative where the viewer plays the role of the protagonist and shapes the story, transitioning from an accidental victim to a participant in the movement.
