2019Episode 5 - Hum Le Ke Rahenge
vr • Producer and Director
A 360-degree VR film documenting the farmers' protest of 2019, where 80,000 farmers marched to the capital to protest against laws enforced by the NDA government.
The film showcases the viewer from the point of view of a protesting farmer. The protest was largely musical, which allowed sound to play an important role in the localization of the protest movement, creating a deeper sense of immersiveness for the viewer.
Sound was recorded with multiple microphones at varied locations on the shoot, guiding the viewer not just by visual presence but by spatial sound accuracy.
