filmDirector and Cinematographer

Why do women get married? Is love insufficient for two people? How do young women in India view the institution of marriage? Shaadi, Sex aur Parivaar delves into these questions through the lives of three women on the brink of marriage. The film captures the convergence and divergence in their choices, exploring themes of love, body image, and identity while they carve out their own definitions of liberation. The project premieres at international festivals and was screened on Doordarshan with a potential audience of over 650 million. It explores how societal expectations influence their freedom and their navigation through issues of sexuality.
